Staff Reunion

    I can't believe it!!! I just posted a very long comment--an epistle really--and then I lost it when I was trying to sign up to be on the blog.

    Anyway, I just want to thank you for sending the pictures, Diane, and I am completely impressed with your ability to create a blog--what a great way to stay in touch with each other.

    I was so sorry not to be there with you all, sitting on the porch, sharing your lives with each other. You all look mah-velous!!!

    Our Durbin Family Reunion was great--about half of the family are staunch Republicans, and about half are staunch Democrats. And everyond is unbudgeable. There are no undecideds. So it was an interesting time together.

    I'll be going up to South Bend next week to visit with Bruno and Alice Schlesinger--it's something I do every three months or so. They are in their upper nineties, but full of life and wisdom. Bruno has lost a lot of his eyesight, but none of his intelligence and wit.

    I hope we can stay in touch through this blog--if I figure out how to send my comment!!
